Why Mobility's revenue margin fell about 4 points in one quarter without hurting profit
This unit asks: How should Uber's profit and capital be adjusted before they make sense?
From January 2026 the U.K. outside London moved to net accounting, so Mobility's revenue margin fell about 4 points in one quarter while its segment margin did not. To read Uber's reports, use Gross Bookings as the denominator for scale and margins, and read profit through segment profit and non-GAAP operating income.
In Q1 2026, Uber's Mobility revenue grew only 4.6% year over year.
In the same quarter, Mobility Gross Bookings (the full amount riders pay in the app) grew 24.6%, and users and trips were rising too.
